Donate Woodturning Tools or Equipment
Your donation of equipment can benefit our group.
Retiring from woodworking or woodturning? After you’ve enjoyed your shop equipment, the team at Vermont Woodturners Guild can take your unneeded woodturning equipment, tools or supplies off your hands and get it into new hands so it is enjoyed anew.
-
We will use the equipment, tools or materials in our woodturning center, or we will . . .
-
Clean and tune or sharpen the tools and sell or donate (as appropriate), with the proceeds benefiting the organization’s outreach and education efforts.
Either way, your belonging live on in the hands of people who are learning the craft you loved.
Unfamiliar with woodturning tools and are tasked with closing and estate? Guild members can likely help.
Donate Wood
Extra hardwood cluttering your shop? Fallen tree on your property? A tree cut down that's simply too fine to burn? We might be able to give wood that might go to waste a new life.
We can send our team of wood scouts out to check out what you've got and retrieve extra inventory or select chunks to benefit members and students. (Sorry, we can't do full tree removal, only scavenging. And softwoods such as pine are not the best for woodturning.)
